Partners, Grant Meuleman and Tyler Anderson both started as traditional signwriters (back in the late seventies) and so combine diverse backgrounds in written and painted billboards, varying forms of larger outdoor signage, ticket and poster writing through to traditional forms of signwriting including gilding and hand lettering.

The Tombo store in Nth Fitzroy showcases the clever use of cut vinyl signage combined with traditional signwriting. From the window text to the signed fascia panel and to the traditional signwriting used on the roller doors both front and rear, this signage clearly gives them visual presence in this busy St.Georges Road strip.

Combi At Combi in Elwood we used a variety of techniques including  handwritten timber panels, vinyl text and stippled/signwritten lettering to the wall.  

Hush Puppies Hand Painted Mural Rarely is a sign actually painted these days (with digital printers at the ready) but here the client brief was to hand paint the Hush Puppies dog onto an interior brick wall at their new Miranda Shopping Centre store. The dog had to be fully painted at 3m in height and then “aged” back to give it its final look. Have a look at the before and after photos – Tyler even painted the “brick” work onto the final aged sign. Impressive hey? The client is very pleased with the job and so are we.

Hemisphere gild Completed quite a few years ago, this job incorporated white gold leaf, copper leaf and enamel signwriting. The business has since closed but subsequent tenants have retained the original sign clearly showing an appreciation of classic traditional signage

Seven Seeds This client didn’t want just any standard sign so we constructed a solid timber A-board with signwritten graphics.

The Boatbuilders Bar Digital Print Digitally printing onto translucent film allows light to flow through providing an impressive effect, particularly at night. Handpainted These panels were signwritten then aged to tie in with the surrounding South Wharf precinct.
